Meet the Gals Behind Posy Daze: Two Flower Friends, A Love of Blooms, and a New Way to Gift for Wollongong and Shellharbour.
We’re Kate and Mel — the gals behind Posy Daze.
Before Posy Daze was a little idea bouncing around in a text chat, it was years of friendship, flowers, and a whole lot of time spent side-by-side in the flower shop trenches. We’re two old flower pals with over 20 years of combined experience in retail floristry, and if there’s one thing we know, it’s that flowers have a pretty special way of making people feel loved.
Wollongong Locals keeping it local - this aint no order gatherer situation over here.
We both grew up in the suburbs surrounding Wollongong and, funny enough, we never really strayed too far from home. Fast forward a few years and we’re now raising our own little humans just around the corner from where we went to school. Life has a funny way of bringing you right back where you belong.
Over the years, we noticed something - and we heard it from our customers, our friends, and felt it ourselves too. There was a need for an easier, more affordable way to send a little something special to the people we love. Something thoughtful, beautiful, and simple.
And that’s where Posy Daze began.
After a little hiatus to focus on our young families, we’re back doing what we love (and honestly, we really missed the flowers… and each other!). We’ve returned with fresh energy and a whole lot of blooms to bring you Posy Daze - the easy way to gift little luxuries.
Whether you’re sending a “thinking of you”, celebrating something special, or just brightening someone’s day because flowers are always a good idea - we’re here to make gifting feel easy and joyful.

Delivery days & areas
We deliver across the Illawarra region - covering Wollongong, Shellharbour, and surrounding suburbs. Not sure if we reach you? Check the delivery zone map on our website before you order. We have orders open for Wednesday though to Saturday.
If you spot us out and about delivering your blooms, don’t be shy - come say hello! We’re always up for a yap and a chat. You’ll be able to tell us apart pretty easily… Mel’s the tall one. Yes, she knows. And no, she’s not Kate’s mum - Kate’s just short. Often we will have a kiddo with us too, between us we have 5 babes, so we make them work. A chocolate croissant is usually payment, and no, they wont share.
We're a small team, so we run a tight delivery window to make sure every posy arrives in peak condition. Same-day delivery is only guaranteed for orders placed before the 12pm cut-off on a delivery day.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose which flowers are in the posy?
No - and that's the whole point! We design one beautiful arrangement each day using the best seasonal blooms we can find. The image posted as a preview of the days design, but when pre-ordering in advance for a future date the surprise is part of the joy, and every design is thoughtfully put together by our team the day before each delivery day.
What if the recipient is not home when the flowers are delivered?
All of our posy deliveries are wet wrapped in fully compostable wraps so the flowers will be drinking water. Our team will leave the blooms in a safe spot and send you a notification. If there's an issue, we'll contact you by phone first and email as a backup.
Can I order in advance for a specific day?
Yes! You can pre-order for a future delivery day, this is a great option to ensure you don't miss out on a delivery spot for the day Just note we won't be able to tell you which blooms will feature — but we promise it'll be stunning.
Do you deliver outside the Illawarra?
Currently we deliver across the Illawarra region including Wollongong and Shellharbour. Check the delivery zone on our website to confirm your suburb is included.
How much does shipping cost?
None. The price you see is the price you pay. No extra fees added at checkout — ever.
